Sunday, December 17th, 2006Do you have an acute sense of self-identification?? Do you truly know who you are? The kind of life you’re living? The kind of human being you are?
How do you perceive life? I see life as a big, big, canvas…each second it’s filled with any sort of color imaginable, white, blue, red, yellow, even lime green or shocking pink, the brightest of orange(not at the moment though..:), or even murky gray, and dark hues of black….the blackest of black at one particular time…
With what tones of colors are you adding onto your own life canvas? Of course, it’s impossible to maintain the whiteness of our own canvases..that just means we’re not really living, doesn’t it?
My canvas right now…is being colored , actually smeared, with all kinds of uninviting dull hues of grays, unidentified blacks from all sorts of sources and "toxics" in my life right now…so I feel that it’s about time I start painting my own life canvas with the colors that I love…Purple, soft blues…creams and fresh greens…even striking yellows and oranges this time, so those unattractive, depressing colors I can cover ultimately underneath all these new lively colors.
But wait…what about those blackest of blacks?? Well…that’s when purest shade of white comes in handy…All I need is to equip myself with the right paintbrush, and I can slowly color that black which had been seriously conquering my canvas with its powerfully darkening effect, and I can paint the white all over its daunting shade, with slow but steady strokes…constantly and carefully coating the mighty blacks the dark grays the dirty unpleasant shades of browns…
It won’t be long before I can start adding some sweet pinks, beautiful lilacs, or cool blues to my canvas…The right paintbrushes..and enough amount of patience.
We can all paint any shapes and colors that we want on our life canvases. 
I want mine to be simple, soft, yet lively and full.
